In a production area of about 6,000 square metres, switch levers for cars and trucks are made, as well as exhaust mountings, exhaust flaps to optimise noise levels, throttle linkages for agricultural machinery and drive components for the robotics industry.
 
Gersfelder Metallwaren GmbH is headquartered in Rhön, close to Fulda, in the German state of Hesse, and currently employs 250 staff. This makes GMW one of the largest employers in the region.
